Isreali DJ and production duo Vini Vici are key players in the international psychedelic trance scene.
• Members Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh met as teenagers in school. Kadosh was already DJing local parties.
• Saharai and Kadosh began making music as Sesto Sento with fellow Israeli producer Itai Spector. The project foreshadowed Vini Vici’s eclectic, contemporary dance style.
• The duo established their psytrance sound with their 2015 debut album, Future Classics, featuring the hit “The Tribe.”
• Trance godhead Armin van Buuren has been a longtime champion of the duo. They’ve performed numerous times at van Buuren’s infamous A State Of Trance event.
• In 2016, Vini Vici teamed up with van Buuren and Hilight Tribe for the massive streaming hit “Great Spirit.”
• They ranked No. 72 on DJ Mag’s “Top 100 DJs” list in 2017.
• Vini Vici have collaborated with artists that extend far beyond trance, including Steve Aoki, Paul van Dyk, and Timmy Trumpet.
