Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Tagging along with my dad to Dogs of War Record Pool meetings, I was immersed in Chicago’s underground music scene. Surrounded by DJs and vinyl, I saw firsthand how music builds community—and how deeply it can move people.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Electric Light Orchestra, Out of the Blue Parliament, Motor-Booty Affair Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Before pioneering House Music, I was a Chicago kid bending genres & expanding minds. His creative DNA are the double album epics of the era, ELO’s Out of the Blue, Stevie Wonder-Songs in the Key of Life & Parliament/Funkadelic's Motor Booty Affair.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing music we created as kids reach global impact is both thrilling and humbling. What started as raw passion in basements became a worldwide movement. It’s proof that something honest and homemade can resonate far beyond what we ever imagined.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? From co-creating House Music to shaping global sound, winning awards, and starring in a Sundance doc, I’ve checked every box. The bucket list? Finished it years ago—now it’s just bonus rounds.
