The Canadian rock group known as the Viletones did a mix of music that combined alternative pop/rock with a little punk. Helmed by lead singer and songwriter Steve Leckie, the band released one EP, Look Back in Anger, and two albums, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning and Live at Max's, during the late '70s and early '80s. These recordings would be reissued in the '90s alongside the archival LP Taste of Honey, recorded in 1977. In 1998, Leckie went solo with the album What It Feels Like to Kill.
