A genuine pop prodigy, John Cowsill is a singer, drummer, and songwriter who has been working with some of the most talented people in the music business since he was ten years old, and he belatedly launched a solo career in 2025. He first entered the spotlight as a drummer and singer with the Cowsills, the family band that delivered a handful of indelible pop hits in the 1960s. After their breakup in the early '70s, Cowsill lent his talents to a number of worthwhile acts, including Tommy Tutone, Dwight Twilley, and the Bangles, as well as touring with Jan & Dean and the Beach Boys. In 2025, John and Vicki Peterson joined forces in the studio for their first album, a rootsy blend of pop and Americana titled Long After the Fire.
