In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting under my mum’s piano stool, listening to her play Debussy.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jack Garratt, Love, Death & Dancing Lizzy McAlpine, five seconds flat Roosevelt, Polydans I love albums that tell a story and connect both with intelligent music but with groove and soul as well. Jack is so creative sonically. Roosevelt has pure groove. And Lizzy brings the heart.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dreams” This was the first song I ever wrote and I learned how to produce it as I went. It felt wholly creative during a time of uncontrolled bipolar mania. I love this song with all my heart.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing my EP was a huge step for me. It was the first four songs I ever wrote. It took me from looping guitar parts in my bedroom to having a completed set of work.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The idea of a self titled album daunts me but also is a goal. The idea that you put your name up in lights over some work that will define you as you forever. It’s both a risk and a great challenge.
