In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was 11 years old, and there was a sign-up list posted on our school bulletin board for joining a band. I couldn't play any instrument and signed up for the only available slot: bass guitar. Looking back, it started to get serious with that day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Patrick Droney, State of the Heart
The Night Game, The Night Game
The Strike, The Lost Years
I am a big fan of '80s guitar and synth sounds. All three albums build on this sonic foundation, yet they create something entirely new and modern, each in a different way. Very inspiring and absolutely my favs! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Polaroid Picture”
A feel good song I wrote about that moment we all had when coming out of a global pandemic: It's time to enjoy the moments we have even more and shake 'em like a Polaroid Picture! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
The moment I heard the first fully mixed and mastered track of my album 'Wonderland,' which happened to be 'City Park,' I knew that it was good and I felt a deep love for my own work. From that moment on, all the pieces fell into place for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
1. Collaborate with a DJ to remix one of my songs.
2. Play a fully acoustic show with unique arrangements of all the songs.
3. Play a show together with 'The Strike' in California.
