In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to music since I was four years old and I started learning the piano when I was 5. By the time I was 10, I was a self-taught software developer and a music producer, using MS DOS programs like FastTracker.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Evanescence, Synthesis Ludovico Einaudi, In a Time Lapse SOHN, Rennen Evanescence was one of the bands that made me love and understand electronic music combined with classical and rock influences. In a Time Lapse expresses my feelings while SOHN's Rennen is an album I wish I would compose myself.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lonely (feat. Alexandra McKay)” I wrote this song while I had a breakup experience and lost a person I truly loved. There was no other way for me to express how I felt, and that brought "Lonely" to the public which oddly became my most-known music composition.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2006, Hernan Cattaneo my all-time favorite DJ charted as one of his favorites one of my songs, "I Wasn't Impressed Enough". It was then I understood that writing music is what I'm good at and kept going since then.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Teaching for a class of kids with special needs was the greatest experience in my life. It was then I chose to be a teacher as well. I keep making music in order to learn more and be able to teach even more.
