Artist Biography
UPSAHL is a pop singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona.
∙ The daughter of a touring musician and granddaughter of music teachers, Taylor Upsahl wrote her first songs in sixth grade and self-released tracks at age 14.
∙ After graduating from an arts-focused high school, she put out her debut single, 2017’s “Can You Hear Me Now,” as UPSAHL.
∙ In 2018, she signed a deal with the new incarnation of major label Arista Records, releasing the singles “Kiss Me Now” and “The Other Team.”
∙ UPSAHL’s 2019 debut EP, Hindsight 20/20, featured the popular streaming single “Drugs,” which was remixed into a dance track by star producer BKAYE.
∙ She cowrote Dua Lipa’s song “Good in Bed,” featured on the pop star’s 2020 hit album, Future Nostalgia.
∙ Her 2020 sophomore EP, Young Life Crisis, included the track “MoneyOnMyMind,” with a guest turn by social-network sensation Absofacto.
