Splitting the difference between the frenetic attack of punk and the sharp-turn precision of math rock, UNIVERSITY are a British band who play furious rock that's dangerous and fun at the same time. Appropriately enough, UNIVERSITY was formed by a handful of college students with lots of ideas and plenty of time on their hands during the COVID-19 pandemic -- they abandoned their studies to put full focus on their chaotic musical vision. After making their recording debut with 2023's five-song EP Title Track, the group earned rave reviews and a growing following as they set to work on their first full-length effort, 2025's McCartney, It'll Be OK.
