The definitive rock kapak experience of the 1990s, U.K’S have all the melodic anguish of soft rock with none of the histrionics. But the band’s actually been around since the 1980s, with principal composer Saari Amri at the helm from the start. Still, vocalist Amir joining and the release of Bisa Berbisa saw their profile soar—their reach even grew to Indonesia, where their influence touched iconic Indo wave acts like Padi and peterpan.
