The San Francisco-based band Tussle combines post-rock and ambient flavors with influences from the funkier end of post-punk (Liquid Liquid, ESG, A Certain Ratio, et al), to create a strikingly original sound. They released their first single on the Troubleman Unlimited label in 2003, putting out their debut album, KLING KLANG, the following year. A personnel shakeup after the release of their second album in 2006 saw a revamping of the band, with only two of the original members remaining, but the new version of the band soldiered on for further recording and performing.
