Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 4 we went to a town picnic in the small town we lived in. It was 1969 and there I saw my first rock band. It was probably a local band but it could have been Led Zeppelin for all I knew. The power, energy and volume left a huge impression.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nick Cave, Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave alone at Alexandra Palace Tom Waits, Anthology of Tom Waits Tom Waits is such an utterly unique character and songwriter. There's no one like him, and his songs spill out emotion like few peoples' can. My favortie Nick Cave album wasn't on the list, but I know it's on Apple Music. Everything he does is great.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Wish You Loved Me” This was the first original song we recorded together and the first song we ever released, it will always be special to us for that reason.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Nirvana opened for my band before they were big. They were sloppy, had crappy instruments and played over their set time so the sound man had to physically carry each one of them off the stage. It was the most rock'n'roll moment I've ever witnessed.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to be a musical guest on Saturday Night Live
