Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember receiving a CD player when I was 10, then looking at the shelves with CDs from Sabbath to Elvis, from Nirvana to Sonic Youth, Dylan and Waits. Oh what a joy. Then I formed a band, the rest is history
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Memory Lane” Too Many Suns have always been an eclectic band. This song manages to join pop, rock, shoegaze and experimentalism within a well structured and written captivating song. It was our first "hit" and so remains as a mark for us as a band.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in TmeOut Market Lisbon, for a full audience in a 360 degree concert, in the pandemic times. It seemed like a forbidden show, with people fearing what was coming, meanwhile sharing a precious moment of music, in the presentation of our Album
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, we still want to play in a major festival, for a big audience. We are working for it. Anyhow our main purpose as a band is to produce meaningful art that may touch people's emotions. We think it is a matter of time.
