Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Watching my Grandma sing in the church choir. I remember thinking she was so brave for singing in front of the congregation. I could always pick her voice out of the group because she had an opera sound to her tone.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eric Church, Sinners Like Me Foo Fighters, Foo Fighters HARDY, A ROCK Debut albums are usually my favourite and these three are no exception. Each album hooked me the first time hearing it. They all inspire me in different ways: Church, through relating, HARDY through lyrics and story and sonically with the Foo.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cochrane Avenue” This song tells my story from childhood. Writing the lyrics of this song was more like writing a journal entry because of the uncomfortable truths I told. I love songs that get to the heart of hard matters.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? CFR Edmonton 2024. I opened up for the Reklaws at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Hearing the crowd sing back Whiskey in Colorado and meeting so many new fans at the merch booth is a memory I will never forget!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to have my music connect with as many people as possible and have it become a part of their life memories. It is a dream of mine to headline festivals and headline a major tour.
