In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is hearing my mom sing and play piano. She sang in community choirs in the Bay Area and would practice in the house. I have a picture of me as a baby sitting on her lap at the piano and it is one of my prize possessions.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Brookmeyer, Clark Terry, The Power Of Positive Swinging Deathray, Deathray Warren Zevon, Warren Zevon Deathray - a couple members of Cake, Eric Valentine producing, INCREDIBLE songs. Clark Terry, Bob Brookmeyer - super melodic, joyful jazz but in the coolest way. Warren Zevon - nobody touches him lyrically.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rubber Band in the Wind” I wrote this song literally in a dream. I can’t remember what happened in it, but half awake at 2:30am there it was fully written: lyrics, melodies, and chords. I made a voice memo to make sure I didn't forget it. Here's the finished version.
