Tiera is the host of a highly personal radio show, The Tiera Show, on Apple Music Country. But she’s also an accomplished artist, as showcased on her sunny, self-titled 2021 EP and that same year’s single “Gentleman." She’s been singing since she was in elementary school in Birmingham, Alabama, where she auditioned for the part of Ariel in a school production of The Little Mermaid. Since making the move to Nashville, the singer-songwriter was included in CMT’s LISTEN UP roster and was named one of 2020’s Next Women of Country. On her radio show, Tiera brings her up-close perspective to what’s new in country—but also incorporates other sounds. “My heart is in country music, but I draw inspiration from all different genres," she told Apple Music. “So you’re going to hear everything from country to R&B, the classics to the new, and all the feel-good songs that set fire to your soul.”

“Making Room”
“Making Room” is the most honest song I’ve written. It came from an overwhelming season where I needed the reminder that I didn’t have to carry it all. When I make room for God, He meets me with peace that quiets the noise.
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
In elementary school, I was nervous to audition for Ariel in The Little Mermaid, but my parents encouraged me. I got the part and sang “Part of Your World” in front of others for the first time. That moment gave me the courage to keep going.
