A U.K. hard-rock quintet heavily influenced by Bad Company and the Rolling Stones, Thunder evolved from the ashes of Terraplane. They then recruited Andy Taylor (ex-Duran Duran) to produce BACK STREET SYMPHONY, a stunning album of bluesy rockers and atmospheric ballads. After opening the 1990 Donington Festival, they concentrated on the American market, touring extensively. The title of the band’s 1995 third album, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, proved appropriate, as the band spent over 12 months recording with Aerosmith/AC/DC producer Mike Fraser. After a lengthy absence, Thunder returned in 2003 with SHOOTING AT THE SUN. Even more successful was 2005’s THE MAGNIFICENT SEVENTH, which spawned the U.K. hit ‘I Love You More Than Rock ‘N’ Roll’.
