Welsh quintet Those Damn Crows play hard and heavy rock, with plenty of chugging guitars and a palpable sense of menace, even as their songs boast anthemic choruses and powerful melodies. The group's early music, such as 2018's Murder and the Motive, was speedy and indebted to glam metal traditions, but with 2021's Point of No Return, they aimed for a polished and dramatic attack with more dynamic and expansive arrangements. It marked the point where the band found their trademark approach that found full flower on 2023's Inhale/Exhale and 2025's God Shaped Hole.
