Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Usher’s “Nice & Slow” and NSYNC’s “Tearin’ Up My Heart” hit me at six. By 2001, I wore out my Celebrity CD with "Gone". Justified sealed my JT fandom. I didn’t know the technicals—I just knew music became my safe space when words couldn’t say enough.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) Future, HNDRXX Justin Timberlake, FutureSex/LoveSounds Take Care teaches vulnerability as powerful—men can feel without apology. HNDRXX proved pain could be art without sounding soft, and FutureSex/LoveSounds pushed vocal and sonic boundaries—R&B, pop, and soul fused into something futuristic.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working in the studio with Usher was surreal. Growing up studying his vocal runs, and then years later being in the same room as he records work I tailored for him—it was confirmation that I belonged here. That moment solidified my purpose in music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely. I want to create an album that supports mental and emotional healing—a body of work that vibes and knocks but it's actual Therapy. ..My label, Lucidus Music Group spawns support for artists who don’t fit in a box. Much more to come.
