Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to club nights and festivals 15 years ago, I was mesmerised by the craft of the DJs and the mastery evident in the music. I wanted to do that thing, I wanted to make that.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fedde Le Grand, Something Real (Deluxe) Green Velvet, Unshakable Swedish House Mafia, Until Now (Deluxe) There are so many incredible albums in the genre, but these three have has a profound effect on my direction, both live performing and production.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Whole Equator” I really enjoyed producing this record. I went back into my archives and took inspiration from some tracks from the early 2000's. The robotic vocal is a personal favourite, and this was the first record I used it on.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When it comes to production, you can only have one "first" release, and that was pretty special. But for live performances, I can't beat my first time playing for an awesome crowd at Family, Brisbane.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely, the bucket list is always being added to, and there are a lot of items in focus for 2024 and beyond.
