In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
ALAN: Mozart's "Rondo Alla Turca" playing during naptime at daycare.
CASEY: In the early 2000s me and my brother loved the Blue Man Group's album "Audio."
EMERSON: Sitting in the backseat listening to Enya’s “Orinoco Flow” or Herman’s Hermits. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Nick Drake, Pink Moon
Pink Floyd, The Wall
Weezer, Weezer
ALAN: The Wall - Pink Floyd. It’s how the band started - we staged an adaptation of The Wall in a classroom in college.
CASEY: The Blue Album - Weezer. It BLUES my mind!
EMERSON: Pink Moon - Nick Drake. Everything about it is beautiful and perfect. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Satan's Little Hell Song”
The first single from our upcoming concept album Your Neighborhood. This powerhouse of a song was such a blast to write and record. The choir of "demons" at the start is actually all fan-submitted recordings that were sent in - and it sounds amazing! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
ALAN: Opening for Lit in 2023 - that was our first “really big” show.
CASEY: Playing 13 shows with a broken leg on our last tour.
EMERSON: Playing a dingy bar Chicago - the promoter literally interrupted the show to introduce himself to us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
ALAN: A UK / European tour would be incredible.
CASEY: Playing any major festival would be sick!
EMERSON: I know it’s such a basic bitch thing - but Main Stage at Coachella at sunset.
