Mixing the rich traditions of American indie rock with a dash of influences from their Latino heritage, the Red Pears have forged a notable path through and outside of their native California. Attractive hooks and head-turning album titles, like their 2015 debut We Bring Anything to the Table…Except Tables We Can’t Bring Tables to the Table and its breakout song “Daylight/Moonlight,” have made the trio darlings of the festival circuit. Red Pears offered even crunchier guitar textures and engaging melodies on You Thought We Left Because the Door Was Open But We Were Waiting Outside (2021) and Better Late Than Never (2024).
