Since 2006, The Growlers have been weaving early-’60s surf music, post-Strokes garage rock, and woozy psychedelic synth-pop into a sound they’ve dubbed “beach goth” (also the name of the carnivalesque annual music festival they’ve hosted in L.A. since 2012).
Members of The Growlers include, or have included, Brooks Nielsen and Matt Taylor.
