Kansas City's Greeting Committee's brand of indie rock is inclusive and upbeat. They inititally found success in 2015 with the release of their debut EP, It's Not All That Bad, which yielded the breakout hit "Hands Down." The track helped them secure a deal with Harvest Records, which issued their first full-length effort, This Is It, in 2018. The following year, the group returned with the more mature and reflective I'm Afraid I'm Not Angry, and in 2021 they released the radiant single "Can I Leave Me Too?" They kept the momentum going with the stand-alone singles "Hopscotch" and "Anything But You" and collaborations with Post Sex Nachos ("Talk About It") and flipturn ("Where'd All My Friends Go?").
