Formed in 2009, the Dead Weather is the second all-star side project from Jack White. Featuring the Kills' Alison Mosshart on lead vocals, Raconteur Jack Lawrence on bass, Dean Fertita on guitar, and White on drums, the band trades in a similar fuzz-and-stomp style to that of the White Stripes, but it's Mosshart's devilish vocals that give the band its unique identity. The band's debut, Horehound, appeared in 2009 on White's own Third Man label, and Sea of Cowards followed one year later.
