Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting with my grand dad watching Jerry Lee Lewis on an old television rerun and him buying a piano to start me on piano lessons.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blind Willie Johnson, The Complete Blind Willie Johnson Free, Fire and Water Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin IV (Remastered) Led Zeppelin 4- Fascinated with Page's ability to meld the mystical with the natural. Free "Fire and Water"- ultimate working man's blue collar blues rock. Complete Blind Willie Johnson - blend of gospel with delta blues. Takes me home to my roots.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Any Way the Wind Blows” That song is one that really just fell out of the sky. I wrote the entire song in my head in a matter of 5-10 minutes, and it just summarized where and who we were when we recorded it. Passionate, to the point, and something everyone can relate to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sold out London show after the pandemic felt pretty amazing, especially after the concerns of what losing touring during lockdowns might do. Winning the Hard Rock Cafe's "Ambassador's of Rock" in Nashville early on.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? #1 album, Madison Square Garden, continuing to play with our heroes.
