The Brother Brothers belong to a tradition of sibling harmony outfits that stretches far beyond the Everly Brothers, a chief influence on the duo of Adam and David Moss. Where most brotherly acts feature members born a few years apart, Adam and David are twins, a hook that's as notable as their soft-focus, harmony-laden pop, which draws equally from Americana and first-generation rock & roll. It's a sound reminiscent of such contemporary groups as the Cactus Blossoms, though the Brother Brothers lean toward the gentler side of this spectrum, as their early full-length albums Some People I Know (2018) and Calla Lily (2021) prove. The Mosses stretched further into the roots with Cover to Cover, a 2022 collection of songs from other artists.
