Artist Biography
Named after the bluish-green color of the walls in his bedroom recording studio, Teeel makes music inspired by ‘80s new wave and synth pop. Essentially a solo outing by Jim Smith, his brand of watery synth pop fits tightly in the chillwave category with soft, serene vocals and drum machine beats topped with retro synthesizers. Teeel’s debut, Amulet, was released through Moodgadget records in early 2011. ~ Jason Lymangrover
