In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After the release of our first album we made a tour to Iceland. It was our first taste of fame, and it was incredible playing live prime time on national TV, being recognised on the street. We've toured a lot since then, but the first one stands out.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Iron Maiden, Piece of Mind (Limited Edition) Judas Priest, Painkiller Bonus Track Version Metallica, Metallica These albums were the soundtracks of our youth. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Metallica led us to Heavy Metal, they made us want to play it and they still make us want to do more. We're honoured to be part of the tribe under the banner they raised.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Blood of Heroes” We wrote this song about our homeland, the Faroe Islands. It's an anthem of gratitude to our ancestors for leaving us such a wonderful nation, and it's been one of our most well received releases so far. We're glad people appreciate the message.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our most favourite show was with the symphony orchestra of the Faroe Islands, released on DVD, LP and CD. Feeling the power of classical music supporting songs we've made over the years was an otherworldly experience that we are very happy to share.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would like to make the most epic and inspiring metal music ever made, and then travel the world playing it for people everywhere.
