About Tauren Wells
Artist Biography
Tauren Wells is a Christian singer-songwriter whose faith-based pop is tinged with R&B and dance music.
∙ In 2004, the Michigan native cofounded the Christian pop-rock group Royal Tailor, who released two Grammy-nominated albums before disbanding in 2015.
∙ Undefeated—his 2016 debut solo EP—featured the single “Love Is Action,” which rose into the Top 40 of Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart.
∙ Wells’ 2017 debut solo album, Hills and Valleys, earned him four GMA Dove Awards—including New Artist of the Year—along with his first Grammy nomination.
∙ His single “Known” was a Christian radio chart-topper and received a nomination for Top Christian Song at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
∙ Citizen of Heaven, his award-winning 2020 sophomore album, featured guest appearances by gospel star Kirk Franklin and country band Rascal Flatts.
