Tama Gucci's music roams with ease between yearning slow jams and cathartic dancefloor tracks, falling somewhere between alternative R&B and left-field pop with assorted styles of dance music -- including Miami bass, drum'n'bass, and house -- also in his repertoire. The Miami-raised, New York-based singer, songwriter, and producer made his commercial debut in 2016, and has gone on to release projects such as Out of Order (2017), Almost Blue (2021), and Notes to Self (2024). The latter two were released on Captured Tracks sister label Sinderlyn.
