Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the day in 4th grade that I got my flute. It was wrapped in plastic in it's case and they told me not to unwrap it until I got to school, I kept looking at it over and over and felt so excited I was going to learn how to play it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, The Best of Aretha Franklin Elliott Smith, XO (Deluxe Edition) The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds These albums are filled with haunting gorgeous melodies, interesting orchestrations and showcase the unique styles and sensibilities of each artist. Truly individual, fascinating and eternally classic all three of these albums transport you.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One time a baby took her first steps in my class. Another time a little three year old walked up to me and told me I was her best friend. I get to witness the most beautiful and intimate moments between parents and children, I'm so lucky.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to make children's television about music.
