Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in the church. I remember always staying after service, and hopping from instrument to instrument, trying to learn anything I could each week. Eventually I learned Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums and Saxophone from that curiosity,
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Thriller Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) They shaped how I write—raw truth, big emotion, and timeless feeling. Stevie taught me range, Usher showed me honesty sells, and Michael proved every detail matters. They remind me to make every word count.

Tell us why you chose this song. “8PM (By Your Side)” At the time, I was coming from the world of primarily a producing and writing, & when 9th and I finished this song, it was the turning point of me embracing being the main character in a song. It felt like no one could tell this story, but me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the chance to write with Usher, let alone on my 21st Birthday, was incredible. He not only gave me a shot, but really taught me a whole lot, that week. He's very wise, and a really hard worker. That's why he's the GOAT.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Making a song with Stevie Wonder. That would really do it for me.
