About Stray from the Path
Artist Biography
Based out of Long Island, New York, Stray from the Path create chaotic, unpredictable hardcore/metalcore with brutally honest lyrics criticizing law enforcement and the general injustices of society. They made their studio debut with 2003's Audio Prozac, touring and recording additional releases until they were signed to Sumerian Records for 2008's Villains. Their fifth LP, 2011's Rising Sun, became their first to chart, entering the U.S. Heatseekers Top 20. Their 2013 follow-up Anonymous then peaked in the Top 40. The band remained prolific for the remainder of the decade with albums like 2015's Subliminal Criminals and 2019's Internal Atomics. Stray from the Path delivered their tenth LP, Euthanasia, in 2022.
