Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first favorite artist had to be LL Cool J. While living on a military base my pops had a copy of Krush Groove and I would watch the 'Radio' scene over and over.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Tame Impala, Currents Young Fathers, White Men Are Black Men Too To Pimp A Butterfly showed a new way of thinking and execution of what an rap album could be. Think I had heard it all and here comes Kendrick Lamar articulating the black experience in a new way. Bravo!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Holding Back Tears (feat. Apollo Brown)” This is my most played song, likely because it was featured in an episode of Bel-Air, but more than that it is about the loss of a friend. Something everyone can relate to, and, I'd glad I was able to connect with folks in that way.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far, being able to work frequently with southern California MC Blu, he is the first artist I got to open for in my journey to becoming an artist, and now I have multiple jams with him.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to do a song with E-40. He is a living legend and someone I have always admired.
