Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 12 I used to record songs on my parents' hifi system and give the tapes to my friends. Until I wrote a song about a girl I liked and the tape got passed around school. Everyone heard it, including her mum, and it was mortifying.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joni Mitchell, The Hissing of Summer Lawns Silver Jews, American Water The Microphones, The Glow, Pt. 2 I'm fascinated by songwriters and, in particular, the way they use words. These three artists have starkly contrasting styles, but they all find ways to create volatile chemical reactions between music and words and never fail to burn the lab down.
