As SOULFIA, Chilean vocalist Sofía Walker has found a middle ground between the smooth sounds of contemporary R&B and urbano. She debuted with 2017's "Piel," and 2019's "Toda la Noche." In 2020 and most of 2021, she issued a near-constant string of singles including "Dolce & Gabana," "City Girls," and "Pantera" before releasing the GÉNESIS EP, which was full of sultry anthems that folded traditional Latin rhythms into modern styles including reggaeton, pop, and trap. She followed with the eight- song Brujerias de Cantina in 2022; it netted the charting single "Mirama a la Cara." Following a tour she released a prolific number of singles in 2023 and 2024, including the club smash "Inmortal," that joined house to Latin funk and cumbia. SOULFIA also joined punky rapper Siggy on the collaborative Latin pop single "Duele."
