Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first show. It was with Training Season at a festival called Marvest in Ottawa. I performed a single song; HIGH. To this day Greenbeardd brings this show up because apparently I was showing out too much. Born Star.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A$AP Rocky, TESTING Earl Sweatshirt, I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe) All for different reasons, but all just as influential in shaping how I create music. GKMC made me want to pursue rap. It told a story that resonated with me. IDLSIDGO was what inspired how I think Lyricism and TESTING helped me be more experimental
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Honeyberry Only (feat. Training Season)” I love how dark this track is. How unapologetic it is. At the time, we liked doing a lot of shock rap. This is a perfect example of what we were on back then.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I dropped BARAKU BARAKU with Training Season. It was my production debut. It was special to me because for a long time, I didn't think I could make good beats. Then all of a sudden I trust myself and do it and it reaches people.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yeah there's a few actually. I want some plaques, a Juno, a Grammy maybe some high profile lawsuits and getting cancelled.
