Singer/songwriter Slimdan's laid-back indie music combines bright acoustic folk with a modern pop sheen that reflects his hometown of Los Angeles. He first worked as a songwriter and producer, co-writing Sasha Alex Sloan's ballad "Older" in 2018 and working with artists like Diplo, Ethan Gruska, and King Henry. In 2021, he signed with Communion Records and presented his first solo single, "MVP," followed by a collaboration with Gnash, "Super Glue." Slimdan's first EP, To Anyone Who Cares, was released in 2022. "Drank on Accutane" and "Wienerschnitzel" followed throughout 2023 and 2024, leading up to the release of his debut album, Second Dinner, in July 2024.
