Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is playing drums at the age of 2. My dad would let me sit behind the drums as a toddler and that's where it all began.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adi Oasis, Lotus Glow Kanye West, Late Registration Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio My top 3 favorite albums are Black Radio by Robert Glasper, Lotus Glow by Adi Oasis, and Late Registration by Kanye West. All albums were defining moments in their careers and helped shape the landscape of music. That's what I hope to do.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “ORGANICS” Organics is a special song because it pushes the borders of everything I had done previously. That's what jazz is all about; challenging the status quo.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far, it would be stepping outside of what others perceive by venturing into other genres. I don't like to be defined by a specific genre, so making "Your Own" was sort of like defying the box some people may have put me in.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to be recognized as on of the best and most versatile producers of all time. I'm barely scratching the surface of my capabilities. I'd like to collaborate with some of the biggest names: Kanye West, Jay-Z, J. Cole, and Lalah Hathaway.
