Artist Biography
Merging casually chilling bars with frenetic beats, Brixton’s Skengdo embodies the most entertaining aspects of the UK drill scene. Born Terrell Doyley in 1997, Skengdo had been recording with his 410 gang for years before tilting the spotlight in his direction with a 2017 “Mad About Bars” performance that racked up press accolades and media streams. Riding that momentum, at the end of 2017 he released 2 Bunny the Mixtape, a project he recorded alongside fellow 410 member AM. Coated in deft rhymes and dynamic production from D Proffit, the effort established the duo as compelling new voices of the region. Since then, Skengdo, along with AM, has sold out UK tours while continuing to build his fan base with projects like Back Like We Never Left (2019) and Eu Drillas (2020), numerous freestyles, and popular singles. In the process, he’s cemented his status as a foundational act on the UK drill scene.
