Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was at primary school, and I gave my first ever concert on an old German squeezebox. I don’t know why, but I’d chosen to learn it by ear then play at show-and-tell. Once I realised I could pick up any instrument and play it by ear, I kept going!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carlinhos Brown, Carlito Marron, Carlinhos Brown e Carlito Marron Leonard Cohen, Live In London Paul Simon, Graceland Carlinhos Brown e Carlito Marron is the perfect blend of Brazilian dancefloor, Cuban salsa and global funk. After seeing Leonard Cohen live in Australia, nothing will ever be the same again. And Paul Simon introduced me to the beauty of world music.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Looking For A Map” It’s what we all went through during the Coronavirus Pandemic, the isolation, the despair, the hope, and the togetherness that ultimately brought us all out. Recorded in my hometown of Melbourne Australia, the first single from album Aguas Profundas.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing for hundreds on the stage of Breminale Festival in the middle of European summer. People dancing, singing along and enjoying themselves, and joining other artists on stage to play Australian songs for the crowd. Giving your all for the crowd.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To collaborate with other amazing artists to bring out the best of all of us in creating new music. To take my music to Asia, the US and Canada. To keep creating new and exciting opportunities for myself and my family in living a life in music.
