Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Edinburgh Fringe was one of our 1st trips. After being ripped off—losing gigs & lodging—we scrambled to play any slot we could, eventually performing 25 sets. Kind strangers helped restore dates, & that chaotic week forged the tight-knit band we are.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fergal Scahill, Lisa Gutkin & Phil Beer)” We loved having 3 of the finest violinists out there collaborate with us on this track. We performed it with Phil while on tour with Show of Hands in 2022 and it's a live favourite.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing with Show of Hands at the Royal Albert Hall has to be a milestone for us, to join the list of incredible artists who have performed there down the years. We hope to get a chance to repeat sometime in the future.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Many things! We'd like to perform more in the US and in general be able to take our music to as many parts of the world as possible.
