Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to a lot of music in my household because of my siblings. So I would always sing to entertain guests whenever they came home. It pushed me to write songs as early as 9 years old, so that early music exposure helped shape me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Adele, 30 Rihanna, ANTI (Deluxe) Sam Smith, In the Lonely Hour These albums are the most intentional projects that heavily influenced my artistry. "In the Lonely Hour" saved me emotionally, "ANTI" taught me how to take risks in my creative process and "30" showed me how connected I needed to be in my writing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Hope” ' I Hope' is a song that helped me understand how to not lose myself. Writing it freed me from all the hardness I would impose on myself because of other people's opinions. Self love and self awareness are the major themes I used while writing.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Wizkid and Jidenna at their shows. A surreal moment that is much deeper than you think it is.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Having my first album out! Putting in the work to create my first full body of work is definitely a bucket list moment that I can not wait to cross, for now enjoy the singles.
