Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical experiences has to be my Dad's accordion. I come from a very musical family. Music is woven into the very fabrics of our being, as a family of course.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Terance, Music Box 1 (DJ Mix) Kirk Whalum, The Gospel According To Jazz - Chapter III Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio 2 (Deluxe Version) No one can balance Neo-soul, Hip-Hop and Jazz quite like Robert Glasper. Music Box by DJ Terance is to me, one of the best compilations of ALL time - period. GATJ by Kirk Whalum was such an exceptional mix of Jazz and Gospel. It's never going to die.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Thandiwe” This was a really special song to me. I wanted to fuse elements of Pop - but with lyricism and song writing that you can only find in Africa. Funny enough, the song was originally an Elecronic song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My cover of Dlala Thukzin's "iPlan" going absolutely viral lol.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Going on an overseas tour through my music would mean the world to me.
