Stalwarts of the Spanish indie rock scene, Sexy Zebras is a power trio featuring lead singer and bassist Gabriel Montes, guitarist José Luna, and drummer Samuel Torío. The band self-released its debut album, Nada Más Lejos de la Realidad in 2011. Over the following decade Sexy Zebras carved a sizable niche for themselves with their driving beats, fuzzy guitars, and irreverent lyrics, with a series of releases such as Volvemos a la Selva (2013), Hola Somos Los Putos Sexy Zebras (2015), and La Polla (2017), while their exhilarating live act made them regulars on the festival circuit. Delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Calle Liberación finally arrived in 2022. Bravo, Sexy Zebras' sixth studio album, was released by Warner Music in 2025.
