Artist Biography
Greece's SepticFlesh have a visceral and uncompromising sound that looks as much to the cavernous halls of doom metal for inspiration as it does the icy vistas of black and death metal. The band's style and lineup have evolved over the decades since their early '90s formation, while their sound has taken on elements of neo-classical and symphonic metal in a theatrical and brutal approach perfected in the 2000s on standout LPs Sumerian Demons (2003), The Great Mass (2011), Codex Omega (2017), and Modern Primitive (2022). In 2025 they continued their progressive evolution with the four-track Amphibians.
