Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first proper album I bought was Peter Gabriel - “So”, when it was released in 1986. I was fascinated by the liner notes listing all the instruments used. Back then I could only wonder what a “Prophet 5” might be.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jonathan Zwartz, Animarum Expanded Edition Pat Metheny Group, Speaking of Now Vanessa Perica Orchestra, The Eye Is the First Circle Although my music is electronic, I mostly listen to jazz, mostly. These albums I can return to multiple times and always find something new. The layers and intricate woven parts are constant inspiration to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bulb Moment” This was recorded at the end of my “Voices” album that I spent almost a year creating. Never initially intended to be part of the Voices project, I felt it added a nice epilogue to the track listing, and summarised some of the techniques I’d learnt.
