In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was about 6yrs old and I went on a drive with my dad, while on the drive to my grandparent's place he put in a CD into the car radio and the song he played was African Queen by 2baba which is one of my favorite songs of all time.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? LOOYUNDAH, The Undoing - EP Mahalia, IRL (Deluxe) Mereba, The Breeze Grew a Fire I love these albums because not only are these women amazing vocalists but they are extraordinary writers of music and I always love to connect with artists' emotions through what they say in a song. It's an irreplaceable feeling.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Okondana (feat. Sibu Manzini)” I love to call Okondana my first born because when this song came out and I realized that people are connecting with it in the way I hoped they would, It was one of the few moments where I realized that my dream could actually come true.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say headlining two major festivals ( MTN Bushfire and Standard Bank LUJU ) has to be up there because I always dreamt about and it always seemed so far out of reach.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have so many but the immediate one would be to perform outside of Eswatini. I want to take my culture and talent to the world and be a representative of my country.
