Sarcator's modern take on old-school thrash, bristling with raw intensity, is a sound that's reflected in their deferential name, a nod to extreme metal pioneers Sarcófago and Kreator. The Swedish quartet, who released their eponymous debut album while still in their teens, have continued to evolve and refine their dark, blackened style on subsequent efforts. This evolution can be heard in their albums Alkahest and Swarming Angels & Flies, the latter of which marked their Century Media debut.
